zTPF File Support Engineer

Job Description:

A company is looking for a zTPF File Support Engineer.



Key Responsibilities

Provide beginning to intermediate level zTPF File Support database and software development, testing, maintenance, and support
Develop, enhance, test, implement, and maintain the zTPF mainframe platform and database
Provide operational and production support for Travelport zTPF systems, including third level escalation and problem resolution


Required Qualifications

7 or more years of technology experience with 5 or more years of zTPF related experience
Application level knowledge of the zTPF database, file system, operating system, and Assembler and C/C++ programming languages
Ability to navigate adjacent systems such as z/VM, z/Linux, and z/OS
Working knowledge of zTPF development and testing tools, such as zTPFGI and IBM Toolkit
Knowledge of ITIL principles and processes
